Staff recommends the City Council approve the quote from Omann Bros. Paving, Inc. to complete three
patches.

BACKGRO U N D/J USTI FICATION:
Staff has identified three separate patches that they would like to have contracted repairs completed on.
These repairs are being recommended because they are significantly larger than repairs that we typically
make in house and we don't have the equipment to complete these repairs properly.
Staff has requested quotes from Omann Bros. Paving, Inc. and North Valley, Inc. to complete these three
patches and received quotes of $8,820.00 and $8,876.44 respectively. Staff is recommending that we have
Omann Bros. Paving, Inc. complete the patching of these three areas for $8,820.00. Omann Bros. Paving,
Inc. has completed patching projects for the city in the past and done great work. Funding for the project
will come from the 201 Pavement Management Fund. The Public Works Subcommittee was presented
with this information at the May 17th meeting and recommended that it be placed on consent agenda.
