Call to Order.
Chair Black called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Roll Call: Chair Pam Black; Commissioners: David Thompson, Steve Schuck, Richard
Nichols, Roger Mord, Jim Kolles Alan Offerman and Aaron Stritesky;
City Council: Councilmember Vern Heidner.
Staff: Elizabeth Stockman, Associate City Planner and Sandy Lindenfelser,
Administrative Assistant.
1. Announcements:
No announcements.
2. Consider the following minutes:
2.1 May 1, 2017 Planning Commission Meeting,
Commissioner Schuck motioned to approve as amended. Seconded by
Commissioner Nichols. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Public Hearing items:
3.1 Lindenfelser:
A. Conditional Use Permit to allow a subdivision of a lot less than 20
acres
Associate City Planner Stockman presented the Planning Report.
Applicants Matt and Kari Lindenfelser, 8400 Kadler Avenue NE were present.
Administrative Assistant Lindenfelser attested that all proper noticing, posting and
publishing has been completed.
Chair Black opened the Public Hearing at 7:04 PM
There were no comments from the public.
Chair Black closed the Public Hearing at 7:07 PM.
Commissioner Thompson motioned to approve a conditional use permit
allowing administrative subdivision of a lot with an area less than 20 acres
within the A-2 District, subject to the conditions listed in the planning report.
Seconded by Commissioner Stritesky. All in favor. Motion carried.
4. Update on City Council Actions.
CM Heidner said City Council approved Martin Farms 4 - Phase 2 for 38 single family
lots at the May 8th City Council meeting. A public hearing was held for the 85th
Street/MacIver Avenue project, plans and specs were accepted for the watermain
extension on Kadler Avenue to Riverwood National and authorize advertisement for
bids.
CM Heidner said there will be 3 public hearings at the June 5th planning commission
meeting and there will be no meeting on July 3rd
City Council met with Guardian Angels after the City Council meeting to go over the TIF
money. CM Darkenwald was not present for this meeting, therefore an additional
meeting will be held Monday, May 22"d for further discussion.
Commissioner Offerman asked CM Heidner for clarification regarding an email that was
received by commission members. CM Heidner wasn't quite sure what was in that
email since City Council did not receive it but thought it was most likely regarding
comments of upcoming applications outside public records and to be careful of what it
is said.
Associate Planner Stockman also said rumors spread quickly and how initial answers
change down the line of communication.
5 Update on future Planning Commission Agenda items.
CM Heidner gave this update in the City Council actions.

Commissioner Stritesky motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner
Offerman . All in favor. Motion carried. Adjourned at 7:23 PM.
