Minnesota Wetland Conservation Act of 1991, Interim Rules.
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota enacted legislation to establish the Wetland
Conservation Act of 1991 and the Interim Rule, effective January 1, 1992 to July 1,
1993.
WHEREAS, the Act strongly encourages local government units to adopt the
Interim Rules and elect to be the Responsible Government Unit.
NOWTHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF OTSEGO,
WRIGHT COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
1) That the City elects to be the Responsible Unit of Government.
2) That the City notify the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources of
the above action.
3) That the City of Otsego, will work with the Wright County Soil and Water
Conservation District while administering the Interim Rules.
4) That the City Zoning Administrator shall be the contact person for the
Administration of said rules.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was made by Councilmember
Floyd Roden and duly seconded by Councilmember Ronald Black and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Roden, Black, Lindenfelser, Freske and Fournier
and the following voted against the same:
None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Otsego City
Council this the 23zdiay of March , 1992.
