BACKGROUND/J USTI FI CATI O N :
On March 7, 2017 the bill HF30/SF1086 was signed into law as Chapter 6 by the Legislative; allowing
Sunday Off -sale intoxicating liquor sales starting Sunday, July 2, 2017. Under the new state law, Off -sale
intoxicating liquor sales may occur on Sundays between the hours of 11 AM to 6 PM. City staff is
recommending approving the attached Ordinance to conform to these changes.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE RELATED TO SUNDAY LIQOUR
SALES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 7-2-10.A of the City Code (3.2 Percent Malt Liquor) is hereby
amended to read as follows:

SALES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
