BACKGROUND/J USTI FICATION:
Osseo Construction Co. LLC began work on the Water Tower #1 rehabilitation project in early April. Work
completion progress thus far includes: Structural modifications -100%, Surface repairs —100%; Interior
Wet Blast and Coating —100%x; Interior Dry Spot repair —100%; Exterior blast, coating and containment —
100%; Mobilization —100%; Seal welding of Upper Torus Lap Seam —100%; Grid Bee Mixer install —100%;
Roof Handrail 100%. A final punch list is being drafted with minor items to be completed.
The pay request has been reviewed by Scott Kriese, Project Supervisor with KLM Engineering, Inc. for work
completed through June 26, 2017 with formal recommendation of City approval of the request for
$76,931.00.
In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the City is withholding the maximum of 5% retainage of work
completed, which accounts to $18,802.50 at this time.
