'des No BA KG UNDMUSTIFI ATION: Kadl r Avenue Stora Surer is in need of improvement to prevent failure of street and prevent erosion. The culvert ander Kadi r Avenue is deteriorated and has been added on to when the path was constructed. The manhole on the rarest side is also deteriorated and the ditch on the gest side has a deteriorated asphalt flume and erosion occurs after significant runoff events. Nadler Avenue Storm Serer Improvement is in the 2013 CIP for an estimated amount of $40.,000. The quotes came in above that estimate. The City received three quotes. Dave Perkins Contracting $47,121.00 ehn Companies $53,900.04 B rsch ille Construction $53,010.00 Although the quotes exceeded the CIP estimate, the project is needed. Smaller projects, such as this c . be d iff icu It to estimate and with the lack fc nstr ctien rr eatherse far this yea r we are seeing Increases in prices from contractors. With engineering and observation cost of approximately $5,000 the overall project is now estimated at $52,x.21. We have reviewed the cost split between "'in -district" and "'out of district" and have determined r $x.2,000 for "In -district" and 77 r $45,000 for "out district".
