Call to Order.
Mayor Stockamp called the meeting to order at 7:04 PM.
Roll Call:
Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Jason Warehime, Corey Tanner and
Tom Darkenwald. Staff: Tami Loff, City Clerk.
Pledge of Allegiance: Mayor Stockamp led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
1. Open Forum.
No items.
2. Consider Agenda Approval.
CM Tanner motioned to approve as written. Seconded CM Warehime. All in favor. Motion
carried.
3. Consent Agenda. (Non-controversial items).
3.1 Approve Claims List.
3.2 Approve City Council Meeting Minutes.
A. June 26, 2017 Meeting.
3.3 Approve City Council Special Pay for June 2017.
3.4 Ordinance 2017-08 Amending the City Code Related Backflow Preventer.
3.5 Pay Estimates/Requests:
A. Pay Request #5 to Osseo Construction Co. LLC for the Water Tower #1 Rehabilitation
Project.
3.6 Authorize Agreement For and Purchase of New Phone System.
3.7 Approve Hire for Receptionist/Office Assistant Position.
CM Darkenwald motioned to approve. Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor. Motion
carried.
4. City Council Reports and Updates.
CM Heidner said he will be attending the Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) on Wednesday to
ask questions on getting funding.
5. Staff Reports and Updates.
City Clerk Loff gave the following updates:
Local Board of Appeal Online Training opened July 7th. Currently CM Heidner is the only
Councilmember up to date on training; Mayor Stockamp and CM Warehime training expired on July
1st. City Clerk Loff distributed online course information to the City Council.
The City received a Public Safety Commission application. City Clerk Loff is looking for direction on an
interview date for the applicant.

Mayor Stockamp called a special meeting to interview of the Public Safety Commission
applicant on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 5:45 PM at Prairie Center. Seconded by CM
Warehime. All in favor. Motion carried.
City Clerk Loff said the Administrative Subcommittee meeting on July 17th has been canceled due to
no agenda items. She also said the Public Works Subcommittee meeting on July 19th is more than
likely canceled as well.
Parks and Recreation Director Demant asked to pass on to the Council that the next Parks and
Recreation meeting will be held at Beaudry Park on July 18 at 6:30 PM.
6. Adjourn.
CM Darkenwald motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor. Motion
carried. Adjourned at 7:16 PM.
