Recommend hiring Seth Wilkes as a Utilities System Operator starting at step 1, pay grade 7 with a
starting date of Judy 10.

BAC KGROUNDIJUSTIFICATION:
The City advertised for Utilities System Operators to fill three open positions. The Council approved
hiring of two Utilities System Operators in June. This recommendation to hire Mr. Wilkes fills the third
Utilities System Operator position.
Mr. Wilkes has the necessary licenses, meets the qualifications of the position, and has completed the
drug testing and background check process.
