The City applied for a grant from CenterPoint Energy Community Partnership for the purchase of 800 Mhz
radios to be used for emergency response communication. A CenterPoint Energy representative will be
present this evening during open forum to present a check in the amount of $2,500.

CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM CENTERPOINT ENERGY TO THE CITY
OF OTSEGO FOR THE PURCHASE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, CenterPoint Energy has made a donation of $2,500.00 to the City of
Otsego; and,
WHEREAS, the donation to the City of Otsego is for the purpose of purchasing radio
equipment for emergency management purposes; and,
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or
personal property be accepted only with adoption of a resolution of the governing body; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego sincerely thanks CenterPoint Energy for their generous
donation and for its continued support of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Otsego that
the donation by CenterPoint Energy is hereby accepted.
