BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
As of Thursday, July 18., 2013, staff had yet to receive either quote from the plumbing companies
contacted. Phone calls confirmed both of their intent to supply a quote. Staff will bring those quotes to
the meeting for a decision based on the cost for performing the necessary plumbing modifications to the
Otsego Public Works Building well room for the Soccer Field Project.
The contractors who were sent request for quotes were chosen by staff for work they have previously
completed in a timely and complete manner and with minimal changes to the cost, therefore any of
these contractors can complete the project.
It is estimated that the lowest quote will be well under $100.,000 so advertisement for bids was not
necessa ry.
