WETLANDS
While the wetlands shown today are factual
They do not tell the whole picture.
PEM1C -Water Regime Seasonally Flooded:
Surface water is present for extended periods
especially early in the growing season,
but is absent by the end of the growing
season.
Flooding this land would make environmental
Changes to the wetlands.
CONCLUSION
•Proposed actions:
•These discrepancies addressed and corrected before this project moves forward.
•Moving the water problem from our upstream neighbors yards to our yard and the neighbors
downstream is not the answer. Not to shift the problem
•Elevation survey of lake shore on down stream to be modeled.
•Allow the drain tile to open and close based on monitoring setup on receiving pond.
•Drain tile opening to be higher than the ordinary high water line. These ponds need to
be able to buffer in a heavy rain event, rather than drain it off onto others as fast as
possible.
