RESOLUTION POSTPONING ISSUANCE OF A DECISION ON
THE NECESSITY FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
STATEMENT FOR THE PROPOSED COUNTRY RIDGE DEVELOPMENT
THE CITY OF OTSEGO
THIS 29TH DAY OF MAY, 1992
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego has received an application for a
residential development hereinafter known as "Country Ridge";
and
WHEREAS, AN Environmental Assessment Worksheet, hereinafter,
"EAW", has been completed on Country Ridge; and
WHEREAS, various comments to the EAW were received; and
WHEREAS, The City Council of Otsego has had insufficient time
to fully and adequately respond to the comments; and
WHEREAS, there is insufficient information at the present
time to allow a fully informed decision on the necessity for
an Environmental Impact Statement; and
WHEREAS, the information lacking includes the response of
the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to requirements to be
placed in the Development Agreement and included in the
general ordinances of the City of Otsego; and
WHEREAS, the information lacking also includes the
developers response to these requirement;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Otsego City Council hereby
postpones the decision of the necessity for an Environmental
Impact Statement until the 8TH day of June, 1992.
