Staff is recommending that Omann Bros. Paving, Inc. complete four patches.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Staff has identified four separate patches that they would like to have contracted repairs completed on.
These repairs are being recommended because they are significantly larger than repairs that we typically
make in house and we don't have the equipment to complete these repairs properly.
Staff requested a quote from Omann Bros. Paving, Inc., the same company that is completing the patching
on the section of Kadler Ave. that is being repaired as part of the water main project. They were the only
company that submitted quotes for that project so staff felt that we should extend this quotation
opportunity to them being they will be in the area completing that Kadler Ave. project. Omann Bros.
Paving, Inc. submitted a quote of $25,698.01 to complete the four patches that staff has identified. Funding
for the budgeted project will come from the 201 Pavement Management Fund. The Public Works
Subcommittee was presented with this information at its Oct. 181h meeting and recommended that it be
placed on consent agenda.
