RESOLUTION NO. 2008-` 17
RESOLUTION REDUCING WORKFORCE IN OTSEGO CITY BUILDING
SAFETY DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the current economic downturn has led to a significant reduction in
Building Inspection work within the City of Otsego; and
WHEREAS, the City cannot maintain employment for all current Building Inspectors
within the City and thus must consider a reduction of work force; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the reduction in workforce should be
immediate and effective as of December 31, 2008.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Otsego,
Wright County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City Administrator is hereby directed to reduce the City Building Safety
Department by one full time Inspector immediately and effective on December
31, 2008 pursuant to the City Personnel Policy, as amended.
